What a week...

This week has been crazy with some ups and downs.  Got approved for a home loan so now the house hunting begins.  Got some houses lined up to look at Sunday.

Ali got hurt at gymnastics last night.  She bruised her knee. I'm glad it wasn't worse.  She has a few days off so she'll be good as new.

Some items has been taken from my room again.  This time it was my favorite cross necklace, an emerald ring, wedding ring and a nugget ring.  I'm heartbroken that one of my children could do this to me.  The necklace is very special to me and I really want it back.  I guess I'm going to be checking out pawn shops this weekend to see if I can find it.

Praying things get better and next week will be better.

Movin' On Up...

Ali finally made Level 3 in gymnastics.  Her first practice was tonight and I'm loving the new practice time.  Granted we have to rush from school to home to get her changed and drop off Bryan, then drive 20 miles to practice.  I like the fact we don't have to eat dinner at 8-8:30pm anymore.  YEAH!!!!

This week started off horrible.  I had to go to the ER twice for a major migraine that just wouldn't go away.  Bryan and Dylan both just got over a stomach bug.  I'm praying no one else gets it and praying this weekend is a lot better than last.

Ali has softball tryouts Sat morning and the draft picks on Sun.  She's excited and can't wait to play.  She's never played before so she's not very good, but her daddy is practicing with her :)  Hopefully she has her dad's talents and gets the hang of it quickly.

Bad Days

The past several days hasn't been the best.  There's a stomach bug going around and it's hit our household.  Also I've been battling a pain around my eye.  After two ER visits and 6 shots, I am feeling better.  I did wake up this morning with my head hurting again but luckily the meds the doc gave me worked.

BJ has been very busy with work, fire fighting, and coaching baseball.  Baseball is taking up most of his time.  He's been pretty sore from all the throwing and hitting.  I'm hoping he doesn't injury his hamstring worse than it already is.   He's so stubborn that sometimes  I think he doesn't know when to stop.

Ali is still active in gymnastics and now she's trying out for softball.  Try-outs are Saturday.  She's never played before so try-outs may be hard for her.  I think once she gets the hang of it, she'll do well.  Bryan on the other hand is not as active as Ali.  We wished he was.  We  told him he had to pick an extracurricular activity because we are tired of him just staying home playing Xbox, computer or watching TV.  So far we haven't found anything that interests him except swimming.  Hopefully we can find a place to take him so he can be on a swim team.  I think that would be great for him.
